Norway’s Export GuarantorJun 8, 2015 The Norwegian Export Credit Guarantee Agency, or GIEK, issued 458 guarantees of finance in the past year, including for 46 ships and rigs. By the end of 2014, the agency was overseeing 89.3 billion kroner in guarantees for the finance of Norwegian industrial exports, of which 85% are offshore construction vessels, platform supply vessels, drill ships, accommodation units, anchor handling vessels, drilling modules and more.
