Crude Energy LLC has made available the Cottonwood #1H in Hardeman County, TX. Crude Energy plans to use newly reprocessed 3d seismic data to locate oil-bearing fracture systems found near structures or faults and drill toward them in search of multiple fracture swarms in the Mississippian Chappel section.
Crude Energy now is allowing the public to make advanced investments for this project, which is projected to begin drilling in June, with an estimated completion coming in July.
The Cottonwood #1H has a total vertical depth of 8,000 ft, total lateral length of 2,600 ft, and a total measured depth of 10,600 +/- ft. The project will primarily target the Mississippian Lime formation. Secondary objectives include the Atoka, Granite, and Wash formations.
