American Patriot Oil and Gas Limited's JV partner Treasure Exploration has applied for three drilling permits on its key Northern Star project in Montana, USA.

Three separate drill locations have been identified and success on the proposed drilling could unlock a significant, new, tight oil resource with the potential create substantial shareholder value considering AOW's low-cost entry to the project.

Treasure, operator of the Montana project, has applied for 3 drilling and spacing units with the Montana Board of Oil and Gas and will select one location for the first horizontal well. AOW controls a 30% net working interest in the Northern Star project covering 36,714 gross acres and 30,778 mineral acres (9,233 net to AOW/21,545 net to Treasure) in Valley County, Montana.
