Wood Group makes Directorate change

Wood Group has confirmed that Mike Straughen, Group Director HSSE, will step down from the Board on 31 August 2014.

Mike has been a member of the Board since 2007 and was Group Director for Engineering from 2007 until 2013, overseeing impressive growth in the Group's engineering businesses globally.

He has also made a significant contribution in leading the Group's HSSE function and as a member of the Board's Safety & Assurance committee, since October 2013. The Directors and colleagues at Wood Group wish Mike a very happy retirement.
