John Wood Group PLC announces selling shareholders offering up to 50 million ordinary shares

A joint venture between Wood Group Colombia and RWD Technologies de Colombia has been awarded a two-year contract worth more than US $1.5 million by Ecopetrol to provide change management services for its Colombian oil pipeline system.

The change management services will help to ensure an effective transition to a new pipeline SCADA system being implemented by Ecopetrol to improve pipeline and pump system operations. Wood Group Colombia and RWD's responsibilities range from analyzing Ecopetrol's existing processes to developing the communications strategy, procedures, manuals and online resources for the operation and maintenance of the oil transportation process. The new system will enable Ecopetrol to centralize crude oil transportation across its 8500 km (5282 miles) pipeline system.

"Wood Group Colombia brings its expertise in facilities maintenance to this joint venture and we will help to ensure that Ecopetrol's transition to the new SCADA system proceeds as smoothly as possible," stated Gary Corbett, president, Wood Group Colombia. "We have been providing Ecopetrol with maintenance and reliability services for more than five years and recently completed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project for their Cartagena refinery."
