Singapore-listed offshore and specialised shipbuilder Vard Holdings Limited (VARD) has secured a contract for one Offshore Construction and Anchor Handling Vessel worth approximately NOK 800 million for Rem Offshore.
This marks VARD’s 5th contract win since the start of the second quarter, and its 13th newbuild since the beginning of 2014.

This vessel is worth approximately NOK 800 million VARD will design and construct the vessel which is of VARD 2 06 design, recently developed by Vard Design in Ålesund, Norway Delivery is scheduled from Vard Brattvaag in Norway in 1Q 2016
The vessel will have bollard pull of approximately 400 tonnes, enabling it to meet demanding deep water operations; It is also equipped with a crane with capacity of 150 tonnes, and can accommodate 90 persons including several offices and work stations
