Travel management technology for the offshore energy sector could offer as much savings as remote operations for some oilfields, suggests the head of ATPI Norge, a company that has served the Norwegian offshore industry for 20 years.
“If you save on travel, you might be able to drill some more wells or oversee more projects,” says ATPI Norge Divisional Managing Director, Dag Kristian Amland.
Upwards of 10 percent of offshore project costs are administrative, according to an industry report by Rystad Energy AS, a respected Oslo-based consultancy.
ATPI is a travel management specialist for companies that move crews and office staff to and from energy provinces and projects that can be remote or dangerous. ATPI’s CrewHub management technology supports crew and staff travel for safety and savings.
