Transocean Ltd. announced that Ihab Toma notified the company of his resignation as Executive Vice President, Chief of Staff effective December 31, 2013.

With Mr. Toma’s departure, the position of Chief of Staff will be eliminated and responsibilities redistributed.

Effective immediately, the company's Board of Directors has designated the Chief Executive Officer, Steven L. Newman; the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Esa Ikaheimonen; and the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, John Stobart; as the members of the company's executive management team pursuant to the company's organizational regulations.
