Transerv says that Warro-6 spud on Sunday, 11 October and is currently drilling ahead in 17 ½' hole at 1305m RT. The spud of the well was later than anticipated due to mechanical issues during the rig move and set up.
Warro-6 is being drilled as a vertical well and is expected to reach a planned total depth of 4300m RT in approximately 25 days. Warro-5 was drilled to 4422m RT but did not penetrate the entire Warro reservoir section. Therefore, Warro-6 may be deepened to approximately 4500m RT depending on the well results and timing.
Warro-6 is located 2.7 km to the north of Warro-5 and 1.7 km WSW of Warro 3 and 4. LikeWarro-5, the location of Warro-6 was chosen using the Warro 3D data to avoid any deep seating faulting.
