Organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) the 10th edition of the SPE/IADC Middle East Drilling Technology Conference and Exhibition (MEDT) will be held in Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi, from 26–28 January 2016. The theme for this year’s event will be “Leveraging Knowledge and Technology to Manage Growth.”
One of the biggest drilling events in the region, MEDT will provide an unprecedented platform for major drilling experts from around the globe to share latest technologies, techniques, and expand the current knowledge base. Adib Al-Mumen, Programme Co-Chair and Manager, Workover Engineering Department (WOED), Saudi Aramco commented, “The conference will be the ideal venue to learn about the latest advancements in drilling and completion technology not only from the Middle East but the entire world.”
