Petrotechnics says that Teekay Petrojarl has gone live with the Proscient operational performance and predictive risk platform on its Voyageur Spirit asset in the North Sea, The Voyageur Spirit Proscient go live kicks off the global deployment of Proscient across Teekay’s fleet of FPSOs in the UK and Norwegian sectors of the North Sea and in Brazil.
Teekay Petrojarl selected Petrotechnics after a lengthy competitive tendering process. Teekay came to the market searching for a way to standardise and systemise safe work across their FPSO assets in the North Sea. Teekay also wanted to explore the options available for deploying a solution that could proactively support the optimisation of their operational environment in what they identified as “harsh conditions”.
