Technip has recently been awarded additional work to an existing SLMP construction contract from Statoil for the delivery of a flexible riser for gas export from the Troll C platform on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Technip’s operating centre in Oslo will implement the project in the spring of 2017. Flexi France, Technip Group’s plant in Le Trait, France, will produce the riser.
Odd Strømsnes, CEO of Technip Norway AS, comments, “This award confirms Technip's leadership in smoothbore technology for flexible risers and we are pleased that Statoil has again selected Technip as a supplier for this critical gas export solution.”
