Global offshore container company Swire Oilfield Services has been awarded a 7-figure contract with Aker Solutions to provide offshore workshops, offices, storage, x-ray and toilet modules for the forthcoming hook-up project on Statoil’s Johan Sverdrup Platform in Stavanger, Norway.
The project is expected to begin at the end of 2017 with a contract period of up to 2 years.
Kjell Steine, Swire Oilfield Services Norway Commercial Director comments, “This is a great win for our North Sea division. We are delighted to be supporting Aker with a diverse variety of products, and to have the opportunity to support them with additional inspection & testing services over the project period. This contract is testament to our strengths in Modular unit supplies in the Norwegian Continental Shelf.”
Swire Oilfield Services Norwegian division currently operates from across 7 bases in Tanager, Floro, Bergen, Hammerfest, Kritiansund, Sandnessjoen and Mongstad, and their head office located in Stavanger.
