Swire Oilfield Services has invested millions of dollars in the Asia Pacific region during the past two years.
The company’s success and commitment in region has been demonstrated in South East Asia through securing six new long-term contracts, establishing an office in Kuala Lumpur, new supply bases in Malaysia and an additional supply base in Maura, Brunei, complementing the established presence to the south in Kuala Belait, all in less than a year since the establishment of its new regional headquarters in Singapore.
In addition, the company has expanded its Australasian operation and is completing construction of new operational support facilities in Karratha, Australia.
As a result of its growth and investment in this key strategic hub for the oil and gas industry, Swire Oilfield Services has also doubled its sales and operations support team in South East Asia and has more than 750 employees worldwide.
