Norwegian deepwater oil company StatoilHydro has extended contracts worth a combined NOK3 billion for the drilling services of three contractors at eight platforms in the Norwegian offshore sector.
A contract extension with KCA Deutag Drilling comprises drilling services on the Brage, Njord and Oseberg platforms. The extention runs from July 2008 and lasts two years.
A two-year Seawell extension for drilling at the Gullfaks and Statfjord platforms starts this October.
Odfjell Drilling Management work at the Heidrun, Visund and Snorre platforms will run two years from October.
