Premier Oil’s business in Indonesia has penned a gas-sales agreement with state-owned urea fertilizer company, PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda, the U.K. independent confirmed Friday.

Premier’s business PT Medco E&P Malaka will send 110 billion British thermal units of gas per day out from its North Sumatra Block A, a production sharing contract, to two of the state-owned company’s facilities. It’s a seven-year deal due to start in 2010.

The gas will be delivered from the Alur Rambong, Julu Rayeu and Alur Siwah fields via a 100-kilometre pipeline.
