Petropack picked in $215M PTT hire

Petrojack jack-up

Norway-based drill rig company Petrojack has secured the $115,000-a-day hire of the Petrojack IV jack-up, a statement said Friday.

It is understood Petrojack's rig-operations business secured the work with PTT Exploration & Production Public Co. Ltd. with a five-year contract.

The newbuild rig leaves Jurong Shipyard in January 2009 and will mobilize quickly for what seems to be $215-million work order.
