Gulf of Mexico explorer Leed Petroleum has hired the Ensco 98 rig to ply the Eugene Island blocks with a “multiple-well” drilling program starting this fall.

Blocks 183 and 184 are part of Leeds 4 million barrels of oil equivalent and 70 billion cubic feet of proven and probable reserves.
