Iraq will boost oil output by 400,000 barrels per day to 2.7 million bpd in 2008, the country’s oil minister was reported by news agency Reuters as saying on Friday.
“We are increasing our production and all the increase will go to exports,” Hussain al-Shahristani told the news agency at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The remarks, still new, had not yet affected oil prices, which were up $0.60 to $89.94 before the report.
