Statoil awarded Johan Sverdrup contract to Pioneering Spirit offshore heavy-lift vesselMar 3, 2015Statoil has signed a contract with Allseas for installation of three platform topsides on the Johan Sverdrup field. The vessel will be installing the topsides for the drilling, processing and living quarter platforms. Allseas will transfer the topsides to Pioneering Spirit before they are transported to the Johan Sverdrup field. On the field Pioneering Spirit will install the topside on the steel jackets.
Statoil submits development plan for Peregrino Phase IIMar 2, 2015Following the sanction of the Peregrino phase 2 project in December, Statoil together with its partner Sinochem submitted the Plan of Development (PoD) to the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) in Rio de Janeiro on 30 January. Norwegian Petroleum Directorate declares production figures January 2015Feb 23, 2015Preliminary production figures for January 2015 indicate an average daily production of about 1 931 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate.This is 59 000 barrels per day (about 3 percent) less than in December 2014.Total gas sales were about 10.3 billion Sm3, which is 0.6 GSm3 less than previous month.The average daily liquid production in January was: 1 542 000 barrels of oil, 344 000 barrels of NGL and 45 000 barrels of condensate.
