Danish Energy champion DONG Energy has reported earnings before tax and debt-paying of 3.12 billion Danish kroner ($650 million), up slighly on the almost threefold increase in business for its soaring exploration and production division.
DONG's offshore business turned in earnings before tax of 1.26 billion kroner on more production and higher oil and gas prices. Company net profit remained nearly the same year.
