Norway-based oil company DNO International said its Yemen well manager Oil Search has noted “27 metres of oil shows” after reching total depth with no word of testing or flow potential.
The company said the Dahgah-1 well reached total depth of 2,670 metres before a logging program was begun in Naifa dolomites rock. A section of the producing Nabrajah layer was also struck through.
Details are expected in a report next week.
