CNPC, KazMunaiGaz pen Part 2 pipeline deal

China National Petroleum Corp. and KazMunaiGaz have signed a cooperation agreement to complete the second half of a Kazakhstan-China crude oil pipeline.

Chinese president Hu Jintato and and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev plus CNPC and KazMunaiGaz leadership agreed to joint engineering construction and operation of the trunk line’s second leg.
