AMEC Berca Indonesia awarded further contracts for TOTAL’s Tunu field

U.K. engineering outfit AMEC and supermajor BP have struck a pact giving making the supplier a preferred engineering and project management contractor for the oil company's offshore developments worldwide.

The frame agreement sets out the principles of joint work over the next four years. Under the deal, a one-year option could extend AMEC's "on-call" services for BP's project management teams.

The oil company is hoping to ramp up a long list of projects over the next 10 years in Angola, the Asia-Pacific region, Azerbeijan, Egypt, the Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea and Trinidad.
