Songa Offshore provides July fleet update

Songa Venus-4

Songa Venus achieved an operating efficiency of 100% during the month. The rig continues to operate for Petronas Carigali in Malaysia.

Petronas exercised the 1 year optional contract during the month securing continued work for the rig in Malaysia until Q3 2013. The rig is currently undergoing a scheduled 14 day Intermediate Survey Inspection (UWILD) program in Labuan Malaysia before returning back into operation.

Songa Mercur is currently in transit to Trinidad with estimated arrival 15 August. The rig will then undergo contractual preparations work for startup of its previously announced contract with Zarubezhneft in Cuba in Q4 2012.
