Siemens is to showcase a range of power technologies during the GCC Power 2013 exhibition in Abu Dhabi. The company will present innovations from both its Energy and its Infrastructure and Cities sectors, with a focus on solutions that can significantly improve the efficiency and reliability of regional power supplies.
Highlights from Siemens will include the company’s fixed-mounted circuit-breaker 8DA-10 switchgear, designed for use in transformer and switching substations across a wide range of industries. Also on show, the Siemens 8DQ1-6 gas-insulated high-voltage switchgear is a new generation of switchgear noted for a high degree of versatility provided by its modular design. Both systems have been designed for operation in regions with adverse ambient conditions, such as high levels of dust and humidity.
