Seatronics in Brazil

Global marine equipment rental and sales specialist, Seatronics, an Acteon company, has continued its three-year expansion plan by opening a new office in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

With established bases in Aberdeen, UK; Abu Dhabi, UAE; Houston and Louisiana, USA; Perth, Australia; and Singapore, this new office in South America reflects the company’s ongoing expansion and increased business from new and existing clients.

The vice president of the USA and Brazil regions, Mark Teles, who will lead the Brazilian team, said, “We have been fortunate to draw increasing interest from around the world. More and more of our customers are working in deeper offshore areas and it is essential that we have the equipment they require available worldwide for rental or purchase. With that in mind, we plan to offer rental and sales of marine electronic equipment, in-house repairs and services, calibration and 24-hour technical support. We already have two local experienced members on our team and are looking for new recruits.”
