Scorpion International Ltd., a wholly-owned affiliate of Scorpion Offshore Ltd., has signed a contract with a local operator for a drilling program offshore Vietnam utilizing the Offshore Resolute.
The firm portion of the program has an estimated duration of sixty-one days. Additionally, the operator has the right to an optional period of one additional well with an estimated duration of 80 days.
The contract begins on 1 April 2010 and has an estimated value of between US$ 7 and US$ 16 million depending on the option well.
