Saratoga Resources, Inc. announced that full production has been resumed after a brief shut-in caused by Tropical Storm Karen. The Company shut-in production on Friday afternoon, October 4, 2013 when it was determined that the storm was headed towards the southeastern coast of Louisiana.
Following weakening of the storm, work began on Sunday, October 6th to bring production back on line and, as of Thursday, October 10th, production has been restored to 97% of pre-storm levels.
Although there will be some deferred income as a result of the production shut-in, no damage was suffered to any of the Company's wells, platforms or pipelines.
