As part of its major growth plans, Aberdeen-based Saltire Energy has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Craig Mitchell as a Director.

As Business Development Director, Craig adds to the existing expertise of CEO Mike Loggie, Managing Director Gary Leslie and Operations Director Peter Gray.

Craig joined Saltire Energy in 2003 as a rentals coordinator before moving into the role of a business development manager two years later. With a background in mechanical engineering, Craig spent five with the Royal Air Force before moving into seismic survey within the offshore oil and gas industry. He subsequently secured a position as engineering manager with a local independent service company.

Craig will continue to focus on expansion of Saltire Energy in both the UK and internationally. He also oversees rental contracts and the firm’s bespoke Integrated Management System, which is ISO9001:2008 accredited.
