Ross Offshore AS announces a contract award with Det norske oljeselskap ASA (Det norske). The contract is for seven years, with three year’s firm, and two plus two years optional. (3+2+2)
The contract consists of planning and implementation work, including total well management, as part of Det norske’s exploration program in the years to come.
The contract involves support of Det norske in their extensive work in exploration drilling, and optional work in production drilling, interventions and ultimately P&A. This also includes consultancy on the development of the ‘’Ivar Aasen’’ field. Part of the contract will take effect immediately. The contract will involve all departments in Ross Offshore including; Drilling & Well, Subsea & Intervention, Marine & Logistics and Subsurface.
