Rocksource's estimated December 2009 production from its US subsidiaries averaged 1,138 boepd (barrels of oil equivalent per day). This compares to the actual November 2009 production of 1,034 boepd.
The preliminary production estimate for the year 2009 is 1,316 boepd, slightly above the 2009 production target of 1,300 boepd. The 2009 production reflects the decline in the fields after producing the wells for 2-3 years. The 2010 target production will be announced at the same time as the 2009 Annual Statement of Reserves report is publicized.
The monthly production updates will be discontinued as of January 2010 and replaced by quarterly production updates as part of the company's quarterly presentations.
