Rialto Energy Limited declares the appointment of Mr Charles Nieto, the Company's London based Chief Operating Officer, as an Executive Director.

Mr Nieto is an Engineer with over 30 years international oil and gas exploration, development and production experience gained through positions working in Italy, Indonesia, Cambodia, Norway, North Africa, Syria and UK North Sea.

Prior to joining Rialto in October 2010, Mr Nieto served as Technical Vice President and General Manager, Operations and Development for Stratic Energy for a period of 5 years and was responsible for planning and implementing onshore and offshore drilling campaigns in the UK Continental Shelf, Europe and North Africa.

Prior to this, Mr Nieto enjoyed a distinguished 16 year tenure with both Enterprise Oil and Shell, where he held various senior positions including Technical Manager and Senior Reservoir and Petroleum Engineer, and has experience in managing high capital projects such as the Jotun FPSO development, offshore Norway; and the Scott Field development in the UK North Sea.

The Board of Directors of Rialto welcomes the appointment of Mr Nieto and looks forward to him making a valuable contribution to the Board as it moves through its next phase of growth.
