RBG Limited-5

RBG reports the award of a £7million inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) diving contract from Maersk Oil North Sea UK Limited.

The company’s newly formed Marine & Subsea division, which was launched at the Subsea 2010 conference in February, will deliver diving inspection of the lower hulls, destruction of caissons and blanking of the sea chest on Maersk Oil’s Janice floating production unit in the North Sea.

RBG services will include vessel based diving, autonomous diving support craft, as well as providing ROV services.

Dave Workman, RBG chief executive officer, said: “We are very pleased to be continuing our successful working relationship with Maersk Oil. Securing this contract highlights the work we have carried out and strengthens our position as a leading North Sea IRM provider of subsea services.

“The Marine & Subsea division demonstrates our ability to provide a number of integrated services; our commitment to safe, flexible and efficient service is evidenced by our growing relationship with clients.”
