Quensh HSEQ Specialists has been awarded a contract by Premier Oil plc to implement and develop an improved Health, Safety and Environmental Management System. The six figure contract will ensure that Premier’s HSES Management System supports future Safety Case submissions against the 2015 Safety Case Regulations and recertification to ISO14001:2015 by April 2017. This work will also support transition of legacy management systems for assets where Premier is taking over Installation Operatorship and ensure that they have a user-friendly, fit for purpose Management System methodology in place to support their business unit.
The contract was won against strong competition and represents an important step for Quensh in establishing a wide-ranging understanding of the challenges faced by companies taking over installation operatorship of existing assets.
Tracie Watson, Managing Director with Quensh says, “It is an exciting time for Premier and we are delighted to be working in partnership with them to achieve their HSES Management System Objectives. Our unique partnership approach enables us to work with Premier to deliver the specific needs of the project on a tight timescale. Quensh can bring added value to Premier through their extensive experience, track record, and fit for purpose approach. Quensh are looking forward to working closely with Premier and their team with the view of simplifying and harmonising their Management System so that it fulfils the Safety Case requirements, the business going forward as well as ISO14001:2015 standard.”
