Like all exploration and production (E&P) companies around the world, those based and working within Africa are adapting to lower oil prices and in doing so, will look to change their focus and operations.
The annual Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB) and Houston Geological Society (HGS) Conference on African E&P, to be held in London’s Business Design Centre between 3rd and 4th September of this year, will provide the perfect opportunity for those with interests in this continent to come together and discuss how these changes will be planned and implemented.
The conference, which alternates host cities between London and Houston, attracts operators, consultants, government officials and academics and this year, will cover a wide range of themes including; New Exploration Hotspots and New Kitchens, Improving Trap Prediction & Imaging and New Reservoirs.
Running alongside the two days of presentations, Petroleum Geo-Services will be hosting an interactive Seismic Workshop during which seismic a number of service companies will present on a wide range of geology topics and provide an in-depth investigation into their accompanying datasets.
