Petrobras provides its November 2010 production and the average production of 2010.
In November 2010, the average total oil, NGL and natural gas production, including international production was 2,620.3 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), compared with 2,534.2 thousand boed in the previous month.
In the same month, oil and LNG production in Brazil averaged 2,030.9 thousand barrels per day (bpd), 4.7% more than the October average of 1,938.9 thousand bpd.
The increase in volume was caused by the return to normal production levels of ten platforms in the Campos Basin that were undergoing periodic maintenance in the previous month. The upturn was also influenced by the start-up of the Tupi pilot project in the pre-salt layer of the Santos Basin at the end of October, and the operational start-up of another producer well in the P-40 platform in the Marlim Sul field of the Campos Basin.
Natural gas production in Brazil, excluding liquefied volume, averaged 55.3 million m³/day, 0.5 million m³/day up on the October figure of 54.8 million m³/day.
