Penspen is due to open its new Newcastle office on Wednesday 25 February to support its expanding asset integrity division.
Led by Walt Doxford, the newly appointed head of integrity for Europe and Africa, the new premises will deliver an array of integrity services for the energy sector including risk assessment, inspection, defect assessment, materials selection, training, corrosion management and engineering critical assessment.
The move comes after Penspen increased its workforce at its current Newcastle base by 30% from 38 staff members to a team of more than 50 in only six months.
Peter O’Sullivan, Chief Executive of Penspen said: “We have been in the integrity business for 60 years and the rapid growth of our Newcastle centre of excellence, which supports our teams around the globe with consulting and training services, demonstrates the outstanding value that our integrity engineers deliver to our clients.
