Penn Virginia Corporation says that, effective as of March 26, 2009, Steven W. Krablin has resigned from its Board of Directors. Mr. Krablin had been a director since December 2004.

Earlier this week, Mr. Krablin was appointed President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of T-3 Energy Services and the time commitments related to those new positions necessitated his resignation from the PVA board.

James Dearlove, President and Chief Executive Officer, said "We wish Steve well in his new opportunity and appreciate his service as director for the past five years."
