Osage Exploration and Development, Inc. spudded the Hopfer 1-17H, a Horizontal Mississippian well, in Logan County, Oklahoma. The well, located in section 20-18N-3W, was spud on September 17th and is operated by Devon Energy Corporation. Osage Exploration has a 14.6% Working Interest in the Hopfer 1-17H.

Mr. Kim Bradford, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Osage Exploration and Development, stated, 'The Hopfer 1-17H is Osage's second well to be drilled during the month of September, and is located in the section adjoining our previously announced McPhail 2-18H. We are hitting the milestones for our two well-per-month drilling program, and are delighted to be participating in a well operated by Devon Energy, who we believe is one of the best in the business, as well as drilling alongside them."
