Preliminary production figures for April 2015 show an average daily production of about 1 963 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate.
This is 9 000 barrels per day (about 0.4 percent) more than in March 2015. Total gas sales were about 7.9 billion Sm3, which is 2.9 GSm3less than previous month.
The average daily liquid production in April was: 1 584 000 barrels of oil, 330 000 barrels of NGL and 49 000 barrels of condensate. The oil production is 0.3 percent above the oil production in April last year.
The low gas sale in April is due to maintenance work at Kollsnes plant.
The oil production is about 5.6 percent above the NPD's prognosis for the month.
The total petroleum production for the first four months in 2015 is about 76.2 million Sm3 oil equivalents (MSm3 o.e.), broken down as follows: about 29.7 MSm3 o.e. of oil, about 7.4 MSm3 o.e. of NGL and condensate and about 39.0 MSm3 o.e. of gas for sale. The total volume is 0.3 MSm3 o.e. higher than for the same period in 2014.
Final production figures from March 2015 show an average daily production of about 1.548 million barrels of oil, 0.406 million barrels of NGL and condensate and a total of 10.9 billion Sm3 saleable gas production.
