Noreco applies for licenses in the UK 25th round

Noreco sells Altinex Reservoir Technology AS

Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco) has submitted applications for licenses in the UK 25th round.

This is a milestone for Noreco, as it is the first time we participate in a licensing round in the UK. We are building a leading independent oil and gas company in the North Sea region, and the applications submitted today is a part of this process, says Scott Kerr, CEO of Noreco.

Noreco is already present on the UK continental shelf through its 20% share in the Huntington discovery. License awards in the 25th licensing round is expected later in the year or early 2009.
