NOC reports new oil discovery in Libya

National Oil Corporation (NOC) of Libya says that Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) had made a new oil discovery in the well D1-NC129 (New Field Wildcat well) in Slouq Depression Basin.

The total depth of the well is 8,500 feet and it is located approximately 100 km South of Benghazi City and 25 km Northeast of Zueitina Oil Terminal.

Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) is wholly owned by National Oil Corporation (NOC).
