Aberdeen-based oil and gas consultancy, Maxoil Solutions (Maxoil), has appointed a new production chemistry consultant.
Stuart Kemp has taken up the role within the company, and brings with him a wealth of valuable experience.
Stuart – a graduate chemist with more than 10 years’ experience in both laboratory and field-based chemistry – has joined Maxoil from international water treatment and process improvement company, Nalco.
His last position with Nalco – Technical Manager – saw him based in Kazakhstan as part of a joint venture between the firm and local Kazakh organisation, Rauan.
Stuart’s appointment has been announced as Maxoil – which was recently awarded IS09001 accreditation – gears up for a period of planned global expansion.
The company, which has offices in Aberdeen, Bergen and Houston, plans to further establish and grow its presence in new international arenas, through establishing presences in Perth, Australia and Malaysia during the course of 2010.
Stuart, 41, says he is extremely pleased to have joined the company and is looking forward to playing his part in what is shaping up to be an exciting period for the firm.
He said: “I am delighted to have joined Maxoil and look forward to utilising my experience in production chemistry to assist in providing our clients with an unrivalled, specialist service.
“By combining process engineering and production chemistry expertise with a hands-on and practical troubleshooting approach to process optimisation, I believe I can add real value to Maxoil’s existing service offerings. This is an exciting opportunity for myself and I am keen to play my part in the company’s bright future.”
Director of Maxoil, Mel Dow, added: “We are delighted to have someone of Stuart’s talent and expertise join us at Maxoil. I’ve no doubt he will quickly become a valuable addition to our team and assist us in further growing the company and expanding our global reach.”
