Max Petroleum spuds well at Uytas prospect

Max Petroleum resumes production from Zhana Makat Field

Max Petroleum has commenced drilling the UTS-1 exploration well on the Uytas prospect in Block A, Kazakhstan. This is the sixth of 13 post-salt exploration prospects scheduled to be drilled by the Company on Blocks A&E.

The total depth of the well will be approximately 900 meters, targeting potential Jurassic and Triassic reservoirs.
