Marquee Energy Ltd. says that Dan Toews has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President Finance, effective immediately.

With over 27 years of industry experience, Mr. Toews brings considerable financial acumen to the CFO role at Marquee. Dan is a Commerce graduate of the University of Calgary and a registered Chartered Accountant. His career began at a major international accounting firm, before continuing into the junior oil and gas industry.

Mr. Toews served as Controller and Treasurer of Crescent Point, followed by executive roles with Peerless Energy and Pinecrest Energy, as CFO and VP Finance. Dan also brings substantial operational and capital markets experience to bear, to further strengthen Marquee's executive team.
