Madagascar Oil says that Andrew Morris, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, has, at the direction of Persistency Private Equity Limited, resigned from the board of directors of the Company and as Non-Executive Chairman, both with immediate effect.

The Company would like to express its thanks to Mr. Morris for his dedicated chairmanship of the Company during a period of significant change and progress.
