LUX Assure will present a technical paper at the European Corrosion Congress (EuroCorr) 2014. The congress will take place 8-12 September at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Pisa, Italy and will see attendance from key academic and industrial delegates within the field of corrosion science, technology and engineering.

The main theme of EuroCorr 2014 is ‘Improving materials durability: from cultural heritage to industrial applications’, with an aim to assert the critical role of corrosion science, technology and engineering in extending the life of materials.

The paper, entitled ‘Probing Corrosion Inhibitor Behaviour Using Micelle Detection’ will be presented by LUX Assure’s technical expert, Mr. Scott Rankin and is the product of a research collaboration between LUX Assure and an oil and gas super major. The paper outlines the identification of optimal dose and effectiveness of film-forming corrosion inhibitors (FFCI).
