Lundin Petroleum has completed exploration well 8/5-1 on the Ogna prospect located in Block 8/5, (PL453S), in the southern part of the North Sea sector of the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The exploration well 8/5-1 was targeting the Ogna prospect and reached target depth at approximately 2340 metres. The primary reservoir, of Jurassic age, showed poor reservoir quality. The well encountered no hydrocarbons and is being plugged and abandoned as a dry hole.
