Lucas Energy re-enters Austin Chalk well

Lucas Energy

Lucas Energy began the re-entry of the Stobb No.1 well on April 9, 2010. The well is a re-entry of a straight hole well in the Austin Chalk formation. The well is expected to be completed within the next few weeks.

William A. Sawyer, President and CEO of Lucas Energy, said, "Our success so far in Wilson County, Texas leads us to believe that we should continue re-entering wells in that area such as the Stobb No.1. Lucas Energy, Inc. has a good acreage position in the area and continues to look for prospective acreage."
